Long names for nn Kitty?

My hubby has been calling this one Kitty throughout the pg and i have fallen in love with it. I don't want to have that as her full name but i definitely want it as the nn..
I don't like catherine/katherine.

What else could be used to shorten to kitty?

Well, Catherine is the obvious one, and is lovely imo but you could maybe think about Christina? I say this a Kit can be used as a nn for Christoper.

My grandmother was always known as Kitty, but her actual name was Kate. I think that people will automatically assume that her name is Katherine or simply, Kitty itself!

I love it by the way. I have a Catherine, but she is just Katie/Kat as I wanted to leave the name Kitty as my Grandmother's.

Catherine, Cate, Katherine, Kate are the ones that are usually abbreviated to Kitty. Lots of other good options on here though.

Had DS been a girl she would have just been kitty.

The Kitty in Anna Karenina is Katerina. I love Kitty and would have used it by itself but none of my children have proper names iyswim.

If DC2 is a girl she will be Kathleen, shortened to Kitty.

My sis is Catriona and gets Kitty as a nn
