Single-syllable middle name for Felicity?

Can't be Rose, as that's already taken by her older sister.

Felicity Grace - asking for trouble (seems like a very optimistic name somehow)?

Felicity Jane?

Felicity Anne?

Felicity May?

Any thoughts?

I thought Anne and Jane too! They're both good Smile

When I read the thread title I thought Felicity May, so from your choices this would be the one I would go for

RoryRaven · 03/09/2010 23:34

How about Felicity Joan, sounds prettier than Jane imho

ohfuschia · 04/09/2010 00:29

From your list, May, though Joy was the first one that sprung to mind when I read the title.

Felicity Jane sounds a bit like Calamity Jane, sorry! Lots of other options though!

Dolanette · 04/09/2010 12:38

Eve or May??

wildmutt · 04/09/2010 13:09

Jeanne

ExistentialistCat · 04/09/2010 13:31

Thank you! I'd also thought of the Calamity Jane thing... I really like Felicity May, but you don't think it'll put people in mind of Fanny May (and Freddy Mac) too readily, do you...?

I also love Joy, but I fear that a child named Felicity Joy is bound to grow up into a very morose, grumpy person. Wink

One of the books I loved as a child had a character called Felicity Ann who was know affectionately as Flan... I quite like it!

ExistentialistCat · 05/09/2010 19:23

Wow, I don't think I've ever had this many responses to a post! Thank you so much, everyone. I think Anne and Jane are my favourites; DH rather likes Kate. We'll see...
