Finnigan (Finnn) - Not keen on Finn names or surnames as first names, sorry. Could be Michael Finnigan jokes as well.

Ooh your shortlist is really similar to mine! I liked Jasper the best but OH din't like any of them so we've gone with something mutual. Other names I had on my list were

Fergus
Otis
Hugo
Titus

Jasper was our pick for Evie had she been a boy so I love that one. Miles and Gabriel were also on our list.

have you also thought of Giles as an alternative.

I toyed with Jasper but actually was glad I didn't choose it as I don't think it would have suited DS2, but this doesn't mean I don't like it.

Gabriel is ok

Rafferty is not to my taste (a bit try hard maybe)

Finnigan, I just know far to many Finn's, (although these are mainly Findlays) and yes I would constantly think of the song Michael Finnegan

Miles is the plural of Mile (to my eyes/ears). Giles is much nicer and not the plural of Gile .

Rafferty, Gabriel and Jasper are all lovely.

Finn, on the other hand, is so, so popular round here that I'd avoid it for that reason.

LOVE Gabriel, unfortunately I can never use it, as an old school girl crush has spoilt it!

I love Finn and know more Gabriels than Finns. Jasper would be my second coice - although there's the wasp issue.

Meant to say that I've never heard of Finnegan as a full name. I'd maybe go for Fintan.

Jasper is a fanatstic name. Please let us know what you decide.

Finn

I still so stuck. Still love Jasper and Miles and even Oscar but is so popular. Am going over them so much in my head that I am starting to go off them.

They are all lovely, Gabriel, Jasper and Rafferty are all on my list. DP has vetoed them all . I think I love Gabriel and Rafferty the most

I guess you know Miles means 'soldier' in Latin, not a plural. Gabriel is my favourite - as in the angel!

I like Miles,Jasper and Gabriel. I don't like the other two.
