Thoughts or suggestions ?

Hi, i'm expecting baby number 6, due early December. I have 3 girls and 2 boys at the moment, this will be the third boy and last baby .
My 2 boys are called Owen and Kyle and i'd like our 3rd boys name to kind of go with them.

So far the only name my husband and i have come up with, that we agree on is Callum. We're not entirely sold on the name though, but it does seem to go with the other 2 boys names and goes really well with our surname.

I've been a bit put of it by people connotating it with Callum Best (not the slightest bit interested in football or celebrities) and other people saying its really popular.

Just wondered what peoples thoughts on the name were on here and if anyone would like to donate any suggestions of alternatives that we might not have considered.

I like Callum. It would have been on my list but my cousin is called Callum so we can't have it. My friends DS is also called Callum so I don't associate it with Best at all.

If you do use it, spell it with 2 L's. My friend spelt it with 1 and now she has to spell his name all the time.

Thanks, i prefer it with 2 LL's too as thats how it looks 'right' to me. Though i have seen it spelt with 1 L quite often recently.

I like Callum a lot and agree that it goes well with your other names

Kyle and Callum sound quite similar to me. From suggestions so far I especially like Samuel, James, Daniel and Alexander.

I think that Callum goes nicely with the other names tbh.

I think Kyle and Calum in the one family is a bit too much tbh. You could have a Kyle and a Cal.

What about Fergus? That's the same broadly celtic category of name like your other boys...

I've put a few more names on the possible list now to put before my husband, so thanks for all the replies.

In that case I think Leiws or Spencer go well. Or just thought of Mitchell too.
