Like them all, but in order of my preference Nina, Eva, Lily with Nina quite a long way in front.

Ineedsomesleep · 31/08/2010 22:40

Skippy are you aware that Eva and Lily are quite common?

skippy84 · 31/08/2010 22:41

I should mention surname will be Walton

Nina is lovely. I've been bombarded by so many Lilys and Eves here that I can't work out if I like them any more! Grin

Nina is great, feels like it would suit someone sweet or someone feisty. If Lily isn't that popular where you live then it's a great name too. I think that Eva and Nina run better with Walton though, or you could choose a longer version of Lily for formal occasions - there are lots of names with a "lil" in them, the more obvious being variations such as Lilian, Lilith, Liliya, Liliana, Lila etc

Jenbot · 01/09/2010 13:46

I love Nina and had it on my shortlist, so that is my favourite!

Nina.

Lily makes me think of 'fag ash Lil'. Eva is pleasant but Nina is better and goes well with your surname.

horatia · 01/09/2010 16:46

Nina or Lily.

Nina is beautiful! My older sis name is Davina and when me and my brother came along we couldn't say Davina so we called her Nina until we were about 7 and it always reminds me of her to this day. Love it! Think it's so pretty and elegant.

ValiumSingleton · 01/09/2010 21:16

Nina , or Eve Nina

pozzled · 01/09/2010 21:18

Prefer Eva, followed by Lily.

BettyButterknife · 01/09/2010 22:22

Nina, definitely. I love it. Could take or leave the other two.

prozacfairy · 02/09/2010 08:07

Lily is lovely but then I would say that Wink

Like Nina too but not keen on Eva.

chaya5738 · 02/09/2010 10:18

I love Nina. It is on my list :)

PYT · 02/09/2010 12:06

All nice names. Nina is probably the most unusual in the UK.

rachel234 · 02/09/2010 13:31

Nina is gorgeous! I'm a little bored of Lily and Eva/Eve/Evie - they are everywhere here...

stripeybumpsmum · 02/09/2010 19:57

I work with a lovely Italian lady called Lina - common there but not so much here.

resistanceisfutile · 03/09/2010 00:12

Nina

sparkle12mar08 · 03/09/2010 09:08

Nina, absolutely lovely. Eva also gorgeous but increasingly popular, though I certainly wouldn't say 'common' as in chavvy etc. Lily, not so keen on, I think Lilia is much better and runs better with your surname.

Kathleen123 · 03/09/2010 09:31

Nina is my favourite.

tammytoby · 03/09/2010 10:51

Another vote for Nina.

Yes, Eve/Eva/Evie and Lily/Lillie are indeed very common and will date much more.

Nina is lovely, lots of Lilys and Eve/Eva/Evies around here but I've never met a Nina.
