Middle names for Marguerite?

DH and I have settled (I think!) on Marguerite if it's a girl but having trouble thinking up middle names for it.

We have a tendency to have two middle names in my family (it must be a catholic thing!) so shorter rather than longer middle names would be better otherwise it could be a bit of a mouthful.

We like old fashioned / classic, and French names (or ones that could be pronounced in French - my origins).

So far I have thought of:

Alice
Cecily / Cecilie
Anne
Emma

Rose isn't really an option as don't want to over-'flower' it!

TIA Smile

Marguerite is quite retro and your other choices quite traditional too, why not something more contemporary and French...I have a 2010 French baby names book not with me but from memory I liked these:

Eloise; Thalia; Seren; Angeline; Emmaline; Alexia; Aurelia; Celestine; Mattea; Raphaella

Then here are the top 10 in Quebec last year most are quite Franglais:

Léa
Florence
Emma
Rosalie
Jade
Juliette
Camille
Gabrielle
Maika
Mia

I posted a link on here (board search should find it) which will give you all the given names to babies born in Quebec last year if you want some more french inspiration.

Patten?

MrsMadWriggel Grin As much as I hold the chef in high esteem I don't think I could go as far as naming my child after her!

Marguerite Manon Alice has a lovely ring to it, and I like Noelle too as the baby is due in December so it'd be quite appropriate.

Zinaida? I've never heard of that. Sounds exotic!

Hmm, it gives me lots to think about thanks mathanxiety!
