There are plenty of girls names which are flowers or months of the year but I can only think of one boys name remotely similar, Basil. Really not keen on this one.

We called my daugter Beatrice but call her Bea and symbolise her name with a Bee. I thought it would be nice if we can find another name where we can do the same. Any ideas boy or girl.

Cheers

cod - its for fun not necesarily for reality. We shall probably choose something really plain.

Lot's of girl's ones as you say:

  • Lily, Poppy, Daisy, Rose/Rosie, Holly, Jasmine, etc.
  • Ruby, Amber, Jade
  • Summer (symbolise with a sun?), Brooke (river?)

Boy's harder: can't think of any other than ones already given.

blueteddy · 29/08/2005 21:34

Brook is a boy's name too, just spelt without the e.
We had a boy called Storm in our class a few years back.

Beabea · 29/08/2005 21:35

We had a girl called storm at school

Beabea · 29/08/2005 21:40

Wheresmyfroggy - thats just the sort of idea I was thinking of. Interesting as Edward was considered last time.
