I like it!

PaulineCampbellJones · 16/08/2010 19:52

Really like it - Enid Blyton Mr Galliano's circus had a character called Carlotta. Also my friend Charlotte's name in Spanish is Carlotta and it sounds lovely.

I like it. Is it the Spanish version of Charlotte? I think there was a passionate Enid Blyton school girl called Carlotta, wasn'y there?

lauzb · 16/08/2010 19:56

Also really like it - Carlotta/Lottie are lovely Smile

I like it too! Suggested to dh yesterday in fact, who wasn't keen. Clearly hasn't read any Enid Blyton

MummyLovesSadie · 16/08/2010 20:05

Like Smile

ItsAllTurnedToShit · 16/08/2010 20:06

Reminds me of Phantom of the Opera. A Good Thing.

Rockbird · 17/08/2010 00:12

Ha! I immediately thought of Blyton's Carlotta (was it St Clare's or Malory Towers?). Lovely name.

I love it - I'm a Charlotte nn Lottie and always wished I was Carlotta (which my dad used to call me) a it seems more of a logical route to Lottie than Charlotte, IYSWIM. Lots of Charlottes around at the moment, too.

NiceCuppaT · 17/08/2010 12:07

Ohhh great feedback! I was expecting lots of 'only use if you're Spanish or italian'!!

It's OK.

inveteratenamechanger · 17/08/2010 13:16

Love it!

Goregous name! Wasn't she a fiery wild gypsy girl in Blyton?
I am biased as dd has a little friend called Carlotta who is so utterly beautiful that I can't imagine anyone being called this and not being uber cute somehow.
