What would be appropriate for a girl named after a Kevin? As in Carla, Henrietta, Michaela, Stephanie etc.
I can only think of just Kay.

I know a Kevina, lovely girl she is to, but she hates her name.

Surprise · 16/08/2010 17:12

Greensleeves · 16/08/2010 17:12

Caoimhe (Kee-va)

Keziah (meant cinnamon flower, can shorten to Kizzy)

Keira

Bacofoil · 16/08/2010 17:13

Sharon, surely?

LynetteScavo · 16/08/2010 17:16

Does Kevin have a middle name?

mathanxiety · 16/08/2010 17:16

Caoimhe (Kee-va) is the Irish feminine of Caoimhin (Kee-veen) which is anglicised to 'Kevin'

theagedparent · 16/08/2010 17:20

Kevinette or Kevinelle!

BuntyPenfold · 16/08/2010 17:21

Kevina - it's a real name and feminine of Kevin.

Greensleeves · 16/08/2010 17:35

Aw bunty people are only kidding

and anyway aged parents often ARE mean, it's the battle fatigue Grin

personally I think Caoimhe is lovely

allbie · 17/08/2010 15:35

Kevin and Chloe?

Jamieandhismagictorch · 17/08/2010 17:00

Caoimhe is lovely. Is there an anglicized spelling of it? Speaking as someone who has to spell her name every time, it can be a pain

Jamieandhismagictorch · 17/08/2010 17:01

I was nearly called Philippa, after my dad

And look at poor old Nigella Lawson

EdgarAllenPop · 17/08/2010 17:03

...look at all the Georginas and Davinas?

PaulineCampbellJones · 17/08/2010 17:10

I have seen Caoimhe as Keavy and Keava in Ireland.

sharbie · 17/08/2010 17:11

kendra

batsforlashes · 17/08/2010 17:55

Keelin- it is an Irish name and have heard it used for boys and girlss.

CuppaTeaJanice · 17/08/2010 17:59

Everyone will think you're a Big Brother fan if you use Caoimhe and you're not Irish!

Kevia?

ReadingTeaLeaves · 17/08/2010 21:08

Oooh I like Keava.

Atlasive · 17/08/2010 21:20

Keeva?

Does the Kevin you would be naming her after have a middle name?
