Difficult surname help

Hi - we have a shortlist of David, Edward or Sebastian for the bump and I think we both love Sebastian (shortened to Seb). Surname is Stalker.

Do people think Sebastian Stalker is too much of a mouthful - too many S's and T's??

yes and it will be abbreviated to Seb Stalker which sounds rather unfortunate.

I think it's too much, I'm afraid. If it were any other consonant - there's just something about the "S" bit that makes it that much harder to trip off the tongue. David or Edward would work - both great names.

careful with edward...could be nn dick...

Haliborange · 13/08/2010 20:08

Edward doesn't shorten to Dick, that's Richard.

What about Bastien Stalker?

I think it isn't bad (barring potential for oiky teenagers to call him Bastard, but you could shorten to Bas).
