Hi - we have a shortlist of David, Edward or Sebastian for the bump and I think we both love Sebastian (shortened to Seb). Surname is Stalker.

Do people think Sebastian Stalker is too much of a mouthful - too many S's and T's??

miamix · 13/08/2010 22:09

I think it's quite nice, but then again I like bit of alliteration :)

getstuffed · 13/08/2010 22:27

Seb Stalker, it's a little bit comic book hero???? That said, dh has offered Samuel Surrey for us............

kiwidreamer · 14/08/2010 10:15

I totally understand your situation, our surname is Dyke - its really hard to come up with names that sound right! I personally would avoid names starting with S as a general rule but maybe that's cos D names with our surname sound really bad!

NewbieT · 14/08/2010 10:56

I think alliterative names sound great - very dashing / glamorous... I'm thinking Marilyn Monroe here but sure there are male examples! I think Sebastian Stalker's a great, strong name.

I'm trying to think of a name to go with Crisp...think I'll have to leave the 'nature' names alone as they sound overall more like a breakfast cereal than a person's name.

I think Sebastian Stalker is great! We have unusual (ish) names for our two and their name comes to fit and suit them whatever it is. Whatever name you choose, there will be some who don't like it and some who may be too rude to keep that to themselves. Wink If you like the name, then go for it!

allyfe · 15/08/2010 15:34

I really like it.

Atlasive · 17/08/2010 18:53

Much prefer David or Edward to Sebastian.

SparklyJules · 17/08/2010 18:58

I like Sebastian Stalker! I'm a fan of alliteration!

nowherewoman · 17/08/2010 19:03

I love alliteration too. It sounds really cool imo.

nowherewoman · 17/08/2010 19:04

I love the word alliteration as well. You would have more reason to use it if you went for Sebastian.
