Boys name, and an old established one I think. That's a guess, just based on the odd one or two I've come across as adults.

I like it. One of the twins in 'Child of Our Time' is called Ivo.

O/T but Chicken has Child of Our Time been on again recently? I've really enjoyed following the children featured on there. Someone mentioned it had been and I think I've missed it. Is it a scottish name?

The Ivo on the programme is Scottish, and it sounds lovely pronounced in that accent. I don't think it has been on recently, or if it has I've missed it :(

It's a saint's name. There are two of them. Ivo of Chartres and Ivo the Persian bishop who gave his name to St Ives in Cambridgeshire. There's also a St Ives in Cornwall. Good choice.

I know an Ivo, and Ivor and an Ive. I like Ivo best.

Not keen, it looks a bit unfinished to me.

There was a vampire called Ivo in a children's book by Terrance Dicks (Dr Who writer).
