OK, So we have decided if we have a girl she is defiantly going to be a DAPHNE, it means a lot to my husband as it is a dear family members name and i think it is really sweet and feminine.

I wanted your thoughts on possible middle names. Our surname is STITT, So i think we probably need a long middle name although, i really love Alice and Rose but don't think they sound right with our surname!

What about Daphne Grace, Daphne Maria or Daphne Laurel, seeing as the meaning of Daphne is 'laurel tree' so baby would be called Laurel Tree Laurel Grin

For some reason I like Daphne Claire.

KarenG · 12/08/2010 23:24

Daphne Helena?

Eleanor/Eloise (although is Des a bit too Lynam-y as initials?!?)
Josephine
Annabelle

I think it either has to be 3/4 syllables or 1 - not two.

NB I'd avoid Daphne Penelope due to the repetition of the 'ee' at the end, but that may be just me!
