Narrowed our dc2 boys name down to Stefan with Thomas as middle name.

I have always loved the name Stefan since I was about 14! Took some persuading dh as he loved it but seemed to think we would have to be French inorder to pull it off (which we're not). So should we go for it or take the safer route and call him Thomas Stefan instead?

Thanks.

Naah, I went to school with a couple of Stefans in the unenlightened '70s. No one batted an eyelid. Go for it

I like it Stefan Thomas would be very nice (and I don't think you need to be French for it to work).

I like it. I used to have a wee crush on Stefan Edberg.

I don't think it's anymore European than say Hugo, Bruno, Felix, Andre. I have known British people with those names.
