I quite like it.

I know an Elsie, she's just turned 3 and is so lovely and funny and just brilliant! Great name too x

Old lady name

DrivenToDistraction · 26/07/2010 20:10

I like it. Lovely, but I do prefer Elsa. Somehow it feels rather more elegant and less giggly IYSWIM.

happywheezer · 26/07/2010 20:13

lovely

I had a Great Auntie Elsie - it wasn't until she died that my parents found out that in her case Elsie was short for Elizabeth.

I love the name.

SparkyMalarky · 26/07/2010 20:15

Love it

Homebird8 · 26/07/2010 20:15

Really sweet. Mine were boys but it was on the list for a girl. I liked it as a shortened form of Elspeth which is more grownup for those formal occasions.

BellaBearisWideAwake · 26/07/2010 20:19

Reminds me of What Katy Did ("and her name starts with an E and ends with an E")

blinder · 26/07/2010 20:22

Love it
