It reminds me of an eldery neighbour,she was called Isobel,but old fashioned names are coming back,i personally hate rose,reminds me of a decrepid old woman..

but at the end of the day its your choice,so if your happy.go for it lol x

Thought so, Mozfan! You clearly have great taste then so I'd say go for it! I chose the 'Isobel' spelling as it is a family name and I thought it looked nicer when written down with the 'o' in Rose.

Yep! We must have similar taste! Feel free to share any other names you're considering too as I've just found out that I'm expecting again and I really struggled first time round which is why I'm always wasting too much timelurking on these boards!

Beautiful, little girl who was christened along with my ds had this name and I remember thinking it was gorgeous. (Actually she was Isabella Rose)

One of the first girls names i picked for dc to be was Gracie Rose and Maisie until several friends laughed apparently too old fashioned for someone my age to call a baby.

Name picking is so hard especially when you have large family, circle of friends with kids as it narrows your choices i think.
