Ryder....what are your thoughts?

I'm only 16 weeks with DC4, and I know that I'm getting ahead of myself, but really wanted to know what people's initial thoughts are on RYDER for a boy. I actually really like it, and DH says "it's not too bad" but still isn't completely convinced.

Also, what other names beginning with 'R' are people liking at the moment? (I already have a Raeanne, Reuben and a Roisin so running out of ideas!)

Thanks!

I'm really liking Rylan for a boy at the moment.

Ryder is ok, but like your Dh not totally convinced.

It sounds made up or its a sirname. Jack Ryder from Eastenders?

Raeanne is nice and Roisin, not quite sure about Reuben. My cousin has a DD called Riella (pronounced Re-ella) if you like Rs.

Mmm Ryder bring to mind Ruff Ryder, a naff dance act/ Sorry

How about Robin, Rory, Reufus?

janeite · 14/07/2010 19:30

Oh dear no, sorry. Don't like it at all.

I like Robin - but tbh am not at all fond of multi-siblings with same letter names. Then again, you obviously do, so what do I know!

Vamonos · 14/07/2010 19:32

Sorry, Ryder reminds me of condoms for some reason. How about Robert/Bobby?

Or Richard - Richie is cute?

Ryder seems to have a different style to your other names, or is that just me?

horrible name.

CarmelitaMiggs · 14/07/2010 19:35

Tragic. Don't. What if he's scared of horses? Or allergic?

I think Kathryn Flett (journalist) has a Rider (after Haggard?). That's a bit better. But only a smidgeon.

CarlaBruni · 14/07/2010 19:39

Oooo, no. Surname as first name.

Goldie Hawns daughter Kate Hudson has a Ryder.
