Gooseneck stand baby monitors!

Hey, I’m looking into what baby monitor to get and would love recommendations please?! The one we had for our now toddler was dated and we had a lot of trouble finding a spot for it that overlooked the cot properly. I definitely want a much better one this time and have just seen (with a brief google search) they do ones on Gooseneck stands you can attach to the cot now! Does anyone have one of these? Can anyone foresee any issues (mainly concerned with safety) around this that I’m not thinking of? Or any recommendations for decent baby monitors at all? I’m not 100% stuck firm on one that attaches to the cot, if there are others that can be placed somewhere and actually see in to the cot really well then that’s definitely an option too! My last one was angel care and, well seeing what’s out there now, looks like it’s from the 80s!!! My budget would be around £70 ish, probably say £90 max. Thanks in advance xx

So we had a gooseneck stand for ours ... I was worried about baby standing and grabbing it- and as she was on the move at 4 months it was probably for the best!! She was walking by 7 months

The cheapest Hello Baby one on Amazon (was about £33 when I bought it) is great. Really good night and day, unlike my expensive BT one. I'd also be concerned about the baby grabbing it as soon as they could pull themselves up, so could you get a separate generic stand that you can clip to something else? We actually just used a picture hook and suspended the camera with a hair tie.
