Hello everyone,

I am on my way to be a dad and currently we have a 1 year old cat at home.

is it safe to have a cat when the baby is coming? I heard scary stories about cats sleeping next to the baby and not letting them breach so I wanted to ask

did anyone have a cat when you had a baby?

thank you all :)

Are your children’s vaccines up to date?

Yes it’s safe. I had 2.

Yes, I had two cats and everything was fine.

My parents also had a young cat when I was born as well.

It’s fine but never leave a cat in the room where baby is sleeping as they can climb into the Moses basket or cot etc. I’ve had my cat through 3 children but I would never have left him alone with them.
