Missing parent unit

Hello I’ve bought an angelcare nursery unit with a sensor pad but it hasn’t got the parent unit. Is there anyway i can get it to work without the parent unit?

Where did you buy it from? Take it back?
If 2nd hand msg them and explain you didnt get the Parent unit
