Baby camera for living room?

I want to get a camera for our living room to keep an eye on my toddler when I nip in to the kitchen etc.... I have the BT smart monitor in his bedroom; I'm not sure if I really need another baby monitor or an indoor CCTV. There are so many on the market; has anyone else done this and if so, what did you use? x

How old is your toddler? Can they be left alone while you "nip" somewhere?

He is 17 months old. I am alone with him for 12 hours a day as my husband work so there are times when I have to leave him alone for a minute or two. I have set up a secure play pen for him but I wanted to make sure I could keep an eye on him as well so that he is doubly safe.

That makes sense. If it makes you feel better then maybe buy a cheap monitor?
