Can I Use One Baby Monitor With a Different Brand CameraBaby

Hi,

So I'm just wondering if it's possible or if there is some sort of hack to using the parent unit of a BT monitor with the camera of a Motorola one.

BT beloved BT video monitor has survived almost 6 years, just started using it for DS2 who has gone I to his own room and the bloody camera bit has died the red light tries to come on but fades I've tried wiggling the wire using a different cable etc but it's dead. The parent bit works fine. I bought a second hand Motorola one in shock and the guy said he would very kindly drop it off as he would be passing our way, basically he sold me a faulty one, there's no battery in the parent unit, the sound doesn't work and anytime the cable moved it goes off I've tried calling and messaging in shock but he seems to have disappeared so it was a scam! I now have 2 broken monitors and no spare cash!
