Hi, first timer here so forgive me if this is in the wrong place.
My little girl is 3 months old, she has Svt, had her first (and only so far) episode at 6 weeks, we were taken to A&E via ambulance, I thought she had sepsis, she was treated for sepsis, her heart rate got as high as 296bpm, they gave her a drug (adenosine - sorry for the spelling) which instantly made her heart rate come down, and was diagnosed with Svt, she's now on propranolol 3 times a day, which we'd ideally like to stop if possible, have another appointment with a the top specialist in September after being told by another cardiologist he wouldn't have her on the meds.
Anyway, to the point, I currently camp down stairs with her in the moses basket, she naps down stairs too, all though struggles sometimes as I have a very loud 20 month old son too, but I'm nervous of putting her upstairs to nap, incase she has an svt episode an I'm unaware, last time, it made mee lathergaic and hard to rouse, so I guess I wouldn't be able to tell just on a camera monitor, I was wondering what anyone's thoughts were on the owlet sock, I've seen mixed reviews, but I'm not after it for the sids risk, but for if her heart rate rises high again?! Any other mummies with Svt babies?
She also has nystagmus, which we are waiting an appointment with specialists for tests etc on that, but I've been assured they're unrelated issues.
Any advice would be greatly received!! Thank you
