Hi All

I'm a FTM and this is the last thing we need to get on our shopping list. I was originally keen to have just an audio monitor as I was worried that a video monitor would make me more anxious and I don't like how easily they can be hacked into!
However - after doing a bit of research, people say that the video ones are really useful as babies get older and if they don't connect to the wifi then cannot be hacked into.

So... my ideal checklist would include

  • no wifi
  • good night vision camera
  • maybe music/white noise (not essential)
  • good range and battery life.
  • clear screen
  • two way chat

Thoughts and suggestions welcome :-) Thank you x

Hi it's probably a bit late to reply to this now but in case it's not, can I recommend the Lullaby Bay baby monitor on Amazon - it's got all the features that you list and is a good price (£79.99) I love mine but the main reason I'm recommending it is that the customer service from Edith & George who sell it is brilliant - they're really responsive and helpful and you know you're talking to a human!

I use Monbaby, which has everything you need. Why overpay if there is a Monbaby Smart Button, your smartphone and an application for it.
