Can anyone recommend a movement sensor mat that is suitable for a Moses basket. Have been googling but is difficult to tell exactly what is designed to use in a Moses basket.

you do realise that they don't actually help to prevent cot death? I never used one for either of mine

If your baby is small enough to still be in a Moses basket, they should be sleeping in the same room as you at all times anyway so you won't need one. Get two stands for the basket and put one in the living room and one in your bedroom.

Thanks for your replies. I know a mat will not change anything and baby will be in the same room as us for at least 6 months. However after loosing dc1 neonatally I think a mat would help and give me some chance of getting some sleep in the coming months.

i used the angelcare one in dd's moses basket and found it very reassuring. she was in the same room as us but even so i would panic if she was quiet and hardly slept.

very sorry to hear about your 1st child, you may be able to get a hospital grade onr loaned out to you in your circumstances. my mum lost a baby to sids and she was given one for her next child from the hospital.
