Angel care sound only

We have a tomy monitor that is beyond useless, will angel care be better?

If you only want sound then it seems a bit pointless to get an Angelcare monitor. I'd go for a BT digital one, which all have great reviews.

You can buy an angelcare one that just does sound doesn't come with the pad.

I haven't seen that one. The Angelcare one I have is the old green analogue one with the pad and the sound quality is awful so unless it's digital, I would go with something else with a digital signal.
