Quick question about BT Digital monitor 200

Anybody got one and can tell me does the nightlight on the baby unit turn off? I'd like my baby to try to sleep without the light.

Would you recommend this monitor?

Yes see here in the user guide

No idea about whether its better than any other though as we've got a different brand. The reviews look good though.
