I recently had a whole range of blood work done. I've had hypothyroidism treated for 13+ years now and am 1 year postpartum.
My TSH is level 14, as high as when I was first diagnosed.
Coeliac related results: IgA level 8 (apparently a weak/borderline result) but positive endomysial too. GP appointment is almost two weeks after the blood test results came back, I've done a lot of ominous googling in the meantime. The NHS app is suggesting next stage is a biopsy.
I have to admit I'm really dreading the idea of a lifetime of checking labels, being worried to eat out and not being able to share food so easily with my DS (I know I still can but just this added complication to my idea of what life would look like together, travel to Japan, simple baking together).
I will have to make my peace with it and I would so much rather this than a severe allergy that could kill me on the spot or a life-threatening disease.
Anyway - anyone had similar results and turned out not to have it or is it basically a given?
