Unexplained bruise on neck

I have a random bruise on my neck, I think where my thyroid is. Out of nowhere, there’s been no injury to my neck.

i have very high thyroid antibodies but so far normal thyroid function so the dr says not to worry about it. Could this bruise have anything to do with that?

Unlikely.
I was horrendously ill and collapsed. They found ‘no activity at all’ in my thyroid, and I had a huge goitre, I still didn’t bruise.
Could you maybe have scratched an itch unthinkingly? It’s such thin skin in the neck area that it can sometimes be easy to bruise without a bash.
