Has anyone tried any vagus nerve therapy for autoimmune? I’ve been reading about it and am skeptical but curious…

TikTok is full of videos on vagus nerve stimulation exercises, which I’m assuming the Vegas therapy is, maybe try some home stimulation first and see how it feels?

Agree with PP there's lots of videos online about vagus nerve exercises. If you're thinking along them lines, why don't you check out TMS (tension myositis syndrome) too. That might aid with what you're suffering with x

i saved this link as apparently it’s meant to be very good, just haven’t had time to listen to it yet! I have IBS and apparently it can be good for that.

Ahh the link isn’t posting!! It’s on YouTube, and called The Truth About Your Vagus Nerve – The Missing Link to Stress, Inflammation & Longevity

Just do some Yoga, breathwork and/or meditation. Basically the same thing but tried and tested over a much longer period of time.

Autoimmune issues arise from an over active nervous system. You can help this by trying to relax deeply on a regular basis. Try doing something daily, even if only a few minutes, and see if your symptoms start to diminish.

My daughter was advised to try Vagus Nerve Stimulation due to CFS. It was recommended we buy a Sensate device - expensive (there are discounts if you search) but with CFS anything is worth a try, can’t be sure if made a difference but also can’t be sure that she used it effectively . . .
