Postpartum RA flare up

Hi does anyone have any advice about natural ways to help RA pain and limitations? I'm 9 weeks pp and for three weeks now I've been having a flare up of my RA, I'm breastfeeding so can only take ibuprofen, which really isn't doing much, I'm drinking 3-4 litres of water a day, taking a multivitamin, eating super clean and helathy and using an infrared sauna at least once a day, trying to move and stretch as much as I can to open up the joints but no matter when I'm doing I'm still really struggling and it's getting me down. I've ordered some vitamin D and was going to order tumeric capsules but read they're not advised in breastfeeding but surely better for me and baby than ibuprofen?? Havent had a flare up or needed medication in years as have managed symptoms with healthy diet and hydration. Any advice please as really getting me down and I have the happiest baby boy I really want to be the best version of me for him and feel like im not :(

There are definitely breastfeeding safe medications for RA.
Call your rheumatologist and discuss this with them. It's not worth risking permanent damage to your joints to push through.

You can also contact this lady, she is a pharamist with PhD into how much medication transfers into breast milk.

Thank you for your reply, I've not been seen by rheumatologist since way before covid and because I've been ok I've not needed to. Discussed with gp at 8 week check who said to up the ibuprofen and call back in five days which I tried today but receptionist said they're full and to ring 111 which I don't think I have the energy for as dont think there's anything they can do tbf 🙈 just feel so frustrated as before this have felt amazing, even after a pretty rough birth and have recovered so well, only took three ibuprofen over four days after C-section and now taking two every four hours 🙈absolute loving being a mummy so this is just getting me down now!
