Hi all, I have struggled with symptoms for the last 4 years or so. I have had blood tests etc and was diagnosed with Hashimotos about 18 months ago. I have an excellent specialist who put me on thyroxine (keeps an eye on my dose) testosterone, HRT and more recently T3. (I've also been on Prozac for about 6 years). None of the above has made any difference to my symptoms which are the following
Always starts with feeling 'off' then overwhelming fatigue, sore eyes, head pressure, facial pain, pressure on roof of my mouth and thirst which then leads to feeling of swollen glands and tight neck, mild cough and then nausea.
This lasts for a few days and happens every 2 weeks or so at least. I'm beginning to think that it has nothing to with my thyroid and there is something else going on but I do not know what.
I eat well, low gluten, dairy and sugar. Not much booze.
It is so frustrating feeling unwell for much of my time. Does this sound like any other auto-immune condition that people might have knowledge of?
