The results look blurry… but from what I can make out you are positive for the thyroid auto antibodies.. to my knowledge this means that your body is starting to attack your thyroid so slowly over time it will stop
working. Currently you still have good levels of circulating t4 and t3 but my suspicion would be over time you would develop it yes.
im not sure if there is a way to slow down the antibody attack? Low inflammatory diet/low stress maybe? Not sure.

I think high levels of antibodies can mean it's Hashimoto's thyroiditis if I'm correct? Is that something they were looking for?

RoderickHosclassicblackhoodie · 04/05/2024 21:58

Yeah your antibodies look high. But currently your TSH is very normal. How do you feel?

Thanks everyone.

This was picked up in a private MOT style set of bloods.

I feel fine really (for now!). I felt horrendous about 5 months ago and that was due to my iron being so low but this has been rectified.

Not sure if I'm heading for hypo or hyperthyroidism as the literature is not very clear. Feel a bit deflated as I worked hard to get my iron up into a healthy range and now this threatens my energy levels!!!
