Small bowel MRI

I am due to have a small bowel MRI tomorrow for suspected IBD, has anyone had this? Not sure what to expect other than I know I have to drink a liquid in the hour before the scan and fast for a number of hours 😬

How did you get on @fairycakesandtea7 ? I've recently had one as well.

I found drinking the liquid ok, had some interesting side effects afterwards 😬 it was uncomfortable lying on my stomach for the duration of the scan as my stomach became really bloated! I have to wait until May to get the result ☹ how did you get on?

I had it on my back. I won't get results until next month. Should get blood test results next week though. Also suspected IBD.
