Hi all, about 3 weeks ago we all came down with hands, foot and mouth. I had secondary tonsillitis and ended up on antibiotics. Plus I have psoriasis, an auto immune disease and it resulted in the worst flare up of my life. My skin went black in places and flaked off.
my husband had a sore throat for a while, my oldest son had blisters, temp, sore throat etc and our baby had a sore throat.
my eldest feet are peeling and I'm covered in a different rash. I'm wondering if this still an affect of hfm.
I've been to GP who say it's psoriasis which I'm not convinced yet, I've had it my whole life and never looked like this. Steroids doing nothing.
I just wondered if any adults had caught hand, foot and mouth, and how long it took to recover. doctor did say three weeks for me but this was before this new rash appeared. Any insight would be interesting.
