MS????

I was diagnosed with fibromyalgia in 2018 but recently been getting some new and unusual for me symptoms, specifically -

Left sided headache
Blurry vision
Visual aura only in left eye
Left arm feeling odd, heavy, pins and needles, numbness
Left side in general not feeling the same as right
Sensation that left side around mid chest/abdo being squeezed tightly. And last time I had it terrible neuropathic pain to point I couldn’t have anything touching skin
Feeling disconnected brain wise, spaced out

Luckily I’ve got a brilliant GP, so far I’ve had bloods which only showed folate of 5 (should be 5.4 and above) so now on folic acid. Eye test at opticians including retinal photograph all ok.

She has now referred me for an MRI of brain.

My main worry is that everything is one sided and the squeezing sensation because of ‘MS hug’

The symptoms come and go and have done over last month or so and don’t get everything together

Hi, do you mind me asking how you got on? I also have left sided tingling, weakness and general strange feeling compared to right side. Had similar symptoms 10 years ago and had a normal mri, awaiting neurology appt in early Jan as symptoms flared up again in last year

Mri should show any mylation of brain .

MRI took awhile to come back but thankfully all normal

GP and I think I’m getting migraines with additional neuro symptoms so treating for that. She’s put me on Sumatriptan but as I’ve found acupuncture hugely helpful before I went last week for a session

Up until last Tuesday when session was I’ve been getting migraines to some extent every other day. Since Tuesday I’ve not had anything 🤞🤞🤞
