Hi, just looking for anyone with similar symptoms or experience. In January I had an episode where I lost vision in my left eye and left side became numb and couldn't breathe or talk. I was rushed to A&E and they diagnosed me with a suspected stroke as a lesion was found on the back of my brain in an MRI. It has been 6 months now and ever since that last episode I have had continuous pain in the left side of my body. I have numbness in left leg and foot and it gets so bad that I get pins and needles and lots of pressure in my foot. I also become breathless and exhausted when walking. Just recently the weakness has become so bad it is affecting both sides of my body to the point where I can't put pressure on my arms and legs. Anyone have similar experiences?

My 18 year old daughter has just been diagnosed with MS. The main symptom was tingling and numbness down one side. The doctor asked her about fatigue (yes), shooting pains (yes), vision issues (yes - colour fading). Weakness (yes). Clumsiness (yes). Not all together all at once - they were over a few years (and investigated) - it has to be more than one isolated event (hence the 'multiple').
They did a contrast MRI, blood tests and lumbar puncture.
Relapsing remitting is when the symptoms come and go, if it's symptoms that don't go and get worse over time it could be progressive MS. Or it could be something else entirely!
Get yourself back to the GP (or call 111 and see if you need to go to A&E).
