Has anyone had finger bruises as a symptom of an autoimmune disease?
Years ago I had a major flare up where I had a positive ANA (speckled variety). After a year of tests and being under a Rheumatologist (in another country) the conclusion was I had an autoimmune disease but they couldn't diagnose it yet - potentially Scleromderma but they couldn't be 100% sure so we should wait for further symptoms before diagnosis. My symptoms went away after a year and I started to feel much better. I had two successful pregnancies since and everything is pretty stable.
I do occasionally get very sore hands and fatigue and over the last year random finger bruises that come up and go away very quickly. Today I had a completely numb finger on the same finger with a random bruise whilst dog walking - this is a first.
Family history wise, my mother has major cell arteritis and MS.
I'm really curious to hear others experience of these random fingers bruises....
