Is it psoriasis?

I have developed an area of dry itchy skin on around my ear over the past week. I'm also under investigations with rheumatology for ongoing joint pain and am wondering if this is psoriasis, and potentially joint pain is psoriasis arthritis? any thoughts welcome.

Is it psoriasis?

I had a few tiny bits of psoriasis and a strong family history of psoriatic arthritis- sore joints too.

You may have it but l am not a medical professional. It showed initially in my toes (swelling).

Thank you. I'm currently on my 4th months of steroids and 3rd month of DMARS but they haven't decided what type of inflammatory arthritis I have so was hoping this might be an answer!

Methotrexate was very effective for me.

Its hard to get diagnosed as doctors tend to look for inflammation markers.

I hope you get a diagnosis as it's better to know :)

Are you seeing a Rheumatologist? If not ask for a referral I don't have signs of psoriasis but it's in my family and have now been diagnose with psoriatic arthritis it's a high chance if you have psoriasis in the family.

Yes under a rheumatologist, due to be seen again in the next few months. Would love concrete answers!
Thank you for your advice.
