I'm just curious to know how you felt when you ended up needing a higher dose of thyroxine. I'm currently on 50mcg but now feel dreadful. Actually the worst I've ever felt with joint pain, heart palpitations, depression & anxiety.
I'm trying to figure it all out but my TSH level is 1.5 so I assumed my levels were ok? Hashimotos isn't easy to navigate is it.

The palpitations and anxiety, etc actually sound like you could be over-medicated. (Often accompanied by loose stools, diarrhea or more frequent trips to the loo to poo.)
If you needed your dose increased, you’d be sluggish, probably constipated, have dry skin and hair, potentially thinning hair and eyebrows, dry mouth and eyes, be cold all the time and have brain fog. You would feel very disconnected from everything, finding it hard to process thoughts and feelings at a normal pace and be more depressed than anxious. Your heart rate would be slower and you might find your toes and fingers are cold to touch or even likely to be blueish.

BTW, changed in levothyroxine doses take between 2-6 weeks to become noticeable from your point of view. If you were to change them today, you wouldn’t notice an immediate or sudden difference. That just sneaks up on you, unfortunately.
