Methotrexate side effects

I am 10 weeks into methotrexate injections for RA. My pain is much improved, but the headache and nausea is getting worse and lasting longer. I am due to inject today, but the nausea hasn't let up since last week and I am struggling. I am so disappointed because I am actually able to walk now that the pain and swelling in my joints has subsided, but now I am wiped out by the nausea.
Any advice would be much appreciated. I have a phone call with my rheumatologist in a couple of weeks. I take my folic acid the day after the injection.
TIA

Do you have a nurses help line you can call? You may be able to increase folic acid to 6 days and take a anti sickness medicine - I do both. Gp can prescribe anti nausea stuff but I got increase in folic acid via help line.

I find the nurses really helpful and they rarely leave you suffering in my experience.

Just in case this helps anyone else, they just called me back, advised me to miss my injection today and to take folic acid every day, except on the day I do my injection next week. They are sending me a Px for more folic acid. Fingers crossed it helps, because I have been feeling really rough all week.
