Increased levo dosage - turning hyper?

Hoping for some advice or experiences please!

I have been on levothyroxine for 4 or 5 years, the last 3 years have been on 75mcg. Had my annual check in October and my TSH was 6.3, so my GP has prescribed 100mcg and will restest in early December

She said to keep an eye on symptoms of hyper incase 100mcg is too much. My heart rate largely seems ok (according to my fitbit) but, my sleep is disturbed with lots of early waking, and the last couple of nights I have woken up with terrible sweats.

Should I be speaking to my GP now? Or is it OK to wait for my next blood test in 2-3 weeks, as that will show if its too high a dose?

I'm in a similar dilemma, but further on. I've just had my second lot of bloods which have come back as 0.05 after being put up to 125mg after being at 100mg for a while. I've had no noticeable symptoms.

However, people are probably affected differently. And if you're worried it can't hurt to ring your gp.

After my results I can't get a gp phone appointment to discuss until beginning of December, despite gp requesting one. (I'm expecting to be told to take 100mg one day and 125 the next fwiw

Actually, I do feel quite warm but I'm also likely menopausal.

I would wait until your next test, as that will show the effects of the increased dose. Hopefully your TSH will have gone back down to normal levels.
I'm also in a similar position. I've had a suppressed TSH since July and have all the symptoms, and yet when I tried lowering my dose I felt like I could barely move. My TSH is currently undetectable, i.e.

My TSH is undetectable and has been for 10 years. The doctors are not that happy about it but I feel well and T3 and T4 are in the normal range. I had a dexa bone scan which was normal. If my TSH is detectable my thyroid hormones drip out of range and I feel dreadful.
