Infliximab double dose

I've been on infliximab for years and it has recently lost its magic.

I've been prescribed a double dose of 10mg per kg from now on.

Can't help feeling anxious about this. Does anyone have experience please?

Ok, I'll reply to my own thread in case it helps anyone else.

I had the double dose and didn't feel any different to the normal single dose during or after the infusion.

If I hadn't been told it was a double dose, I would never have realised.

Whether or not it helps me will remain to be seen in the longer term.

I hope this reassures anyone else who is told their prescription will be doubled.
