Prednisolone side effects

I was prescribed 15mg/day of prednisolone a few day’s ago. Since then ive been occasionally feeling a bit “spacey” and today been weeing more. Wondered if I should stop taking them until I can speak to my doctor next week?

The advice on the patient information leaflet is to not stop taking them but to talk to a dr -or pharmacist -before you stop so you can follow their advice.
You could speak to a pharmacist first thing tomorrow, or even a late night pharmacist tonight if you haven’t yet taken todays dose.

@ButItRingsAndIRise thank you. I’ve now spoken to a pharmacist and he said to stop taking them and speak to GP next week.

They always make me feel weird, a bit spaced out and “fast”. It passes.

I had to stop taking it as it made me feel agitated and as though everything around me was racing.

I think it was supposed to be a fortnight’s course (for colitis) but I only managed about 3 days of it. Dr was fine about me coming off it and other meds were used instead (which thankfully worked).
