Hi don’t really know why I’m posting maybe to see if anyone has been in similar position to me.
3 weeks before Christmas I begun having weird episodes to my heads like mini blanks it hard to explain but pain would run through my arms and legs, tingling lips and then like a mini flash then ok after 15-20 mins. I ended up going to a&e where they did a brain scan which showed up brain inflammation, they admitted me and did a lumber puncture and spine scan which was clear.
The neurologist just said we will keep a eye on it and brain scan every 6 months.
Since then I’m in serious pain everyday I’ve ended up in a&e twice with pain in arms and legs and jaw and head pressure and palpitations. They said I’ve developed a skipped beat and did a chest ct which was clear.
I’m on gabapentin 300mg a day. Not doing much for me. I’m in agony all the time and struggling to get through each day and feel I’ve nowhere to turn. Everyone thinks I’ve now developed a health anxiety disorder which I don’t deny I’ve anxiety but it’s all because I’m in so much pain... pain killers not helping.
Has anyone any advice what to do next? I need to be got and able to look after my children and this is taking over my life.
