High Immunoglobin A

Those of you who have had high immunoglobin A come up on blood test results, what did it end up that you were diagnosed with?

I have been having abdominal pain pretty consistently since the summer (but actually when I think back, I've had this pain on and off for years). I've had a lot of blood tests done now on both the NHS and privately. Including for coeliac, ANA, various other autoimmune related tests, H. pylori (in the past also had an endoscopy but this was years ago before current bout of pain), etc. All has been negative. The only thing that is consistently high is my immunoglobin A (IgA), but not the IgA tTG for coeliac, so it's not that. IgA seems to be a really non-specific marker of inflammation. I have another round of blood tests later in the month and I am doing a faecal calprotectin test this week (for IBD). I also have an ultrasound booked.

But has anyone else had the experience of having similar symptoms (I also have fatigue, last year went through a period of joint pain and swelling, RA was ruled out at the time) and also had high IgA? What did the high IgA end up meaning for you? GP seems a bit perplexed and I just want to know if there is anything we're missing that could be explored.
