Hi there, name change just in case this is a bit outing,
I feel so sad because I was targetted for the first time about my Lupus.
I was minding my own business waiting for a train today on the platform and a man came up to me and said 'jsus, what's wrong with your legs? its disgusting, jsus chr*st what's wrong with you?' really aggressively.
I didn't know what he was talking about and I looked at him confused. He continued, ' the blue, the blue marks, it's revolting, j*sus what's wrong with you? Gross' and he walked away,
He was talking about the bruises on my legs ( I was wearing shorts) which are so normal to me, I've never thought of them as something that would disgust other people so much. I'm so upset, I'm not sure if I should report him, I took a photo when I got off the train. I'm a slim size 8 and I'm happy generally with how I look. I can't believe this happened to me and I said nothing, I'm the first person to stand up for myself and others if I see something untoward :'(
Sorry for the moan, I'm just so shocked this happened.
