Hello mum’s....
I’ve been having a rough post partum time period. After being admitted into the hospital a few times, seems to have figured out what is wrong with me. Unfortunately i have a rare complication from my pregnancy call Acquired Hemophilia.
My auto immune system have changed and my own antibody in the blood is fighting or destroying one of the proteins needed in the blood to clot.
I am currently having Factor VIII transfusion as my treatment plan and prednisone (steroid) to suppress my auto immune system to kill off the certain antibody that is destroying my Factor VIII blood protein.
Has anyone had this complication?
Has anyone also have rectus sheath hematoma?
