Teenage DD was very unwell a year or so ago with bouts of vomiting and dyspepsia. Raynaud’s appeared at the same time. She was found to have a high ANA 1:1280, low complement, intermittent lymphopenia. ENA and a raft of other tests were normal. One of the doctors I work with suspects lupus or other autoimmune disease might emerge over time. She’s been well for a few months except recent cough lasting weeks which all the year had but of course hers has lasted. It may be covid, maybe not but I have to say I’m a little anxious about her recovering uneventfully.
Work are likely going to ask me to nurse on covid wards in the next couple of weeks. I guess I’m already exposed on tube every day.
Do you think I should ask them to keep me in my current low risk work (I’m busy anyway) or do you think DDs risk is low.
