Struggling with “ well you look fine” syndrome

I have chrons disease and am on amgevita injections which have reduced my infection and inflammation markers significantly but am still not well. After 18 months of a flare I am just done in and struggling mentally. Cause I look well people think I’m well so I feel guilty giving into how I feel anyone any tips how to keep going? I’m normally so positive but struggling now

Ahhh, yep. I have in my head ‘Well you don’t look stupid’ and smile.

It’s really hard isn’t it? The battle against people’s naivety is sometimes harder than the illnesses themselves.

Save your strength for YOU. They don’t deserve it x

Suggest to them you're not faking being ill, you're faking being well. And obviously doing a good job
